Delete your account
You can delete your Tracking Memories account at any time, in the app or on this website. It happens at once: there is no waiting period.
In the app
- Open Tracking Memories and go to Settings.
- Choose Delete account.
- Confirm with your password, or with Google or Apple if that is how you sign in.
On this website
- Sign in with the email, Google or Apple account you use in the app.
- Open Profile and go to Delete your account.
- Confirm with your password, or with Google or Apple.
What is deleted straight away
- Your sign-in, email address, name, username, photo, bio and settings.
- Your saved album, your own journey log and your game progress.
- Everything you wrote on shared walls, with its photos, the walls you started, and your invitations to walls.
- The records of which days you used the app.
- Every device is signed out. Your email address and username are freed, so you can sign up again later.
What stays
- Memories you left for other people stay where they are, shown as written by a deleted account. They are also the record of what someone else received. If you want one gone, delete it before you delete your account.
- A copy of a wall that its creator already downloaded stays on their device.
Can’t sign in?
Set a new password with “Forgot password?”, then delete your account as above. If that does not work, write to us from the email address on your account and we will delete it within 30 days.
